The Japanese-made anniversary edition of the TS9 offers the familiar sound characteristics of the iconic drive pedal with a present midrange spectrum and its famously wide-ranging volume reserves, which are up for any fun from rich cleans to the high-gain sound of modern metal. For its 40th birthday, the special edition features a striking red metal chassis instead of the usual frog-green cabinet design.
