Maxon, the original designers of the TS9 is manufacturing the legendary overdrive under its own name and they have improved the output section in order to lower background noises.
Compared to the OD9, the OD9Pro+ has a Boost switch, allowing to boost mid-frequencies while slightly cutting the high and low frequencies, ideal for solos.
An internal converter also increases the 9V voltage to 18V, allowing a better sound reproduction and higher dynamics.
CAUTION: use a dedicated power supply when chained with other effect pedals.
