Alnico 5 single coil, moderate output and excellent tonal balance. Capable of holding its own in various musical spheres. Distorted sounds rich in sustain, fluid but always clear. Thin highs and warm lows work very well with maple fretboards. The bridge pickup is overwound to increase power and compression. Scatterwound with heavy formvar magnet wire.
